You are invited to attend our Annual Joint Beach Party Fly-In with the Santa Barbara/Ventura County Chapter of Great Outdoors!
We have reserved Group Area "B" at Goleta Beach, a short walk from Atlantic Aviation at KSBA. Plan to arrive late morning, and walk (or shuttle) to the beach park. We are working with Atlantic Aviation to try to get landing/ramp fees or minimum fuel purchase amounts waived or reduced. Watch this space for more details!
Invite your friends, and give us an accurate headcount so we don't buy unneeded food and supplies. Because space is limited, registration for this event is required! Do that here on the UA website, or in the Events section of our UA Facebook page!
If your plane isn't full, we encourage you to let someone know so we can help arrange rides for our members to the event. Also, Great Outdoors has chapters throughout Southern California, from San Diego, Palm Springs, Orange County, and LA County, and some of their members might enjoy riding with you to the event and sharing costs. If you can't fly in, then drive in!
One of the highlights of this event in the past has been UA members taking GO members for short flights over the area. Those flights have been treasured by the GO members, and it contributes to the camaraderie between the groups!

(SUGGESTION: Make this a weekend trip by going there on Saturday 8/27 for Santa Barbara Pride, and then enjoying the beach party/picnic with us on Sunday!)
